The biggest crocodile in the world is believed to be the saltwater crocodile, also known as the estuarine crocodile, which can grow up to 23 feet (7 meters) in length and weigh more than 2,200 pounds (1,000 kg). The saltwater crocodile is found in Southeast Asia, northern Australia, and the surrounding islands, and is known for its aggressive nature and powerful bite. In addition to being the largest crocodile species, it is also one of the largest reptiles in the world.
